Blooming Through Virtue

Each time we drift from the still waters of truth, the mud within us thickens.
Anger clouds the water.
Resistance hardens the roots.
Self-absorption closes the petals.
Across many seasons of life,
this heaviness gathers, layer upon layer,
until the light struggles to reach us.
Yet the lotus teaches there is always a way to rise. Purification is not found in force, but in virtue.
To live in virtue
is to bloom beyond the self—
to offer kindness without measure,
to give your time, your gifts, your presence freely, like petals opening to all, without asking who is worthy. The lotus does not choose where its fragrance travels; it simply gives.
When your giving is small, your receiving remains closed.
When your giving flows freely, so too does grace return.
This is the quiet rhythm of the Lotus Path—
to rise from the mud,
to open without fear,
and to bless all
who come near
