Tell about self:
Hi, I am a wife, mom, and a grammie of many beautiful children.
I have also survived cancer this past year.
What brought you to coaching:
I originally sought out to be coached, which taught me how to coach others, in a whole new way.
How long have I coached?
I have been coaching unknowingly all my life, having a big family, and learning different seasons of life. During the pandemic I needed something more for myself and found Rivka Malka’s School of Coaching and Transformation. It’s been a life changing journey.
What am I passionate about:
My Passion is helping others see their own potential, their own beautiful soul, coming out of the challenges and uncertainties of life and rising above, knowing that there is a purpose to why you are here.
How is my faith reflected in my coaching?
My family has a broad background with different faiths that have shaped our personal spirituality. This allows me to maintain a non-biased approach to others’ spiritual journeys.
What is unique about my coaching:
Your values represent what is important to you, each stage is unique.
A Lotus flower represents the stages of life.
A closed bud is the beginning of the journey.
A partly open flower indicates walking the path.
A fully blooming flower signifies the end of the journey.
What can a client look forward to when booking a session:
- Rewriting your own story
- Feeling a sense of calmness with focused breathing
- Guiding self-care
- Vision board/setting goals
Quotes that inspire me:
Self-love opens the door to healing.
Remaining true to yourself, regardless of the murky waters and the environment, the lotus remains grounded, proud of what is and yet still blooms bright in the world.
When a woman embraces her gifts and aligns herself with her Creator, her purpose, and her values, she opens a strong pathway for prosperity.
Hi, my name Heather Monk and I am a Transformational Life Coach at Lotus Power.
I got into coaching for inner healing & transformation, seeing myself and others in a different perspective. I learned that your values represent what is important to you.
The Lotus flower represents the stages of life, and each stage of development is unique.
The flower grows in muddy water, and as for me, my journey started in muddy waters, with thoughts of feeling hopeless due to a diagnosis of cancer, living a life of insecurities. I had a lot of negative emotions, brokenness, and wondering what my purpose was in this life.
As the flower detaches itself from the water and filth, it serves as a reminder to separate ourselves from the things that could harm our soul and then turn to focus more on growth, wisdom, relationships. It has taught me to grow so much within myself, rising high above the water’s surface, the beginning of a new life, a new ME!
My passion is helping others see their own potential, their own beautiful soul, coming out of challenges and uncertainties of life and rising above, knowing that there is a purpose to why you are here.
I would like to help you unfold each petal in discovering your new beginning.
My spiritual life, like many others, has been a journey as well. Beginning in the murky waters with questions, and developing through stages, I have experienced many different walks of faith directly. Each one has been a season wrought with new knowledge and experience with our Creator. These different experiences allow me to assist others wherever they are on their own spiritual journey.
When you book a session with me, we will walk through the challenges and uncertainties of life, leaving behind the old and rising through as the lotus rises above reaching for the sun for strength, love, and light. We will do this by going through some mindful guided imagery, journaling, rewriting your own story, to heal and gain powerful strength and vision boards setting goals and reflecting on your greatness. Remaining true to yourself, regardless of the murky waters and the environment, the lotus remains grounded, proud of what is and yet still blooms bright in the world.
Each storm and trial that we go through is growth. The flower never gives up, never looks back, it just keeps growing, as it needs the sunlight, water, and air to survive. Before you can blossom in the sun, you must make your own way through the slimy muck, for your own personal transformation. Start on your healing journey.
