Monday Before the Move, Monday Full of Love

Wow, it’s Monday already, and just a few more days until we hit the road. Yesterday, we went out to pick up a few gifts for the grands to deliver when we go visit them.

Birthdays are coming up this week, and we want to make sure each one feels extra special. Happy birthday to our daughter Jade, and also to our granddaughterFelicityand grandsonLiam!

You are all so amazing, and we love you so very much. You each hold such a special place in our hearts as we move forward on this journey.

Today is another busy day as we get ready for the packers to come on Tuesday.

We’re waiting for hubby to arrive this afternoon as the plane was grounded by a storm that was coming through, see you soon my love!

I’ll be giving away some items from the bakery to another local baker. It feels good to pass things along and bless someone else along the way.

While I was at Lowe’s, I couldn’t help myself — I bought some flowers and planted them in the front yard and by the mailbox to finish things off.

A little beauty makes the whole place feel more peaceful, even in the middle of all the packing and preparation.

Now it’s on to finishing up the laundry and keeping things moving.

Even in the middle of transition, there is still room for love, gratitude, and little moments of joy. These are the memories that stay with us long after the boxes are packed.

Even after we leave, we will leave a piece of our hearts in this house and in the hearts of all that we have encountered.

Stay strong and be blessed, my friends.

Today was a sweet surprise from one of our horse friends.

Mrs. Rae came by to give both my daughter and I a picture of us riding Shorty, her amazing horse.

Thank you, Mrs. Rae, for your generosity and your love. You are a true gift from the Lord, and I am grateful that you showed me I could have the courage to get on a horse.

Thank you for allowing both my daughter and I to take turns riding with you. The rides were so peaceful. I felt inner peace and couldn’t believe I was on top of the world riding such a sweet horse.

We will truly miss riding with you.

I hope to find someone just as sweet as you. Keep in touch, my friend.
